When anger is released, particles of light are released.
When a person releases anger, particles of the light of happiness are released from that person. Anger is also an act of losing one’s own particles of happiness-light.
The RUMA World Project is a philosophy project created by Jean Nishita. It explains the invisible movement of happiness, anger, silence, and human dignity through the image of “one million particles of the light of happiness” that every person is born with.

The Law of Ruma is not a religion. It is a practical philosophy for ending the chain of anger in everyday life.
Premise: Every person is born with one million particles of the light of happiness. This invisible light supports kindness, peace, hope, dignity, and the capacity to love.
When a person releases anger, particles of the light of happiness are released from that person. Anger is also an act of losing one’s own particles of happiness-light.
If the listener responds with anger, the listener’s own particles of light are also released. The two sets of particles collide in the air and disappear.
If the listener does not retaliate and keeps stillness, the other person’s released particles reach the listener and become part of the listener’s own light of happiness.
Harming others means losing one’s own Ruma first. The Law of Ruma does not deny the feeling of anger itself; it visualizes that when anger is released toward another person, particles of one’s own light of happiness are released outward first.
The Law of Ruma is a philosophy of emotional economy: the destination of happiness-light changes depending on whether we return anger or keep quiet strength.
The Law of Ruma is scheduled for presentation at an international TESOL conference in Vietnam and at the first research conference of the Japan Society for Peace Education.
Ruma will be introduced as a storytelling-based emotional learning model for English language education.
Ruma will be presented through non-retaliation, one million particles of the light of happiness, emotional value, and peace education.
At this stage, the English edition is available only for THE LAW OF RUMA. The children’s books, Gaman no Mahou, are currently available in Japanese only.
