On August 10–11, 2026, Jean Nishita participated in the 17th International Conference on TESOL at SEAMEO RETRAC in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and presented a poster on The Law of Ruma.

The presentation introduced non-retaliation as an educational framework linked with storytelling, dialogue, role-play, reflection, and English-language learning.
